Took the GRE today. 720 verbal and 630 analytical.

1. How did I get 720 verbal?
2. Seriously, 630 analytical?

I'll do great if I apply for English departments!

CS is more verbal than anyone allows themselves to recognize.

It's very true. I nearly aced the verbal section of my GRE. Analytical? About the same as Sean.

That makes me feel less like a complete retard =p. I was really kind of shocked when I saw the score (especially since I thought the analytical section was painfully easy).

Still considering retaking, I'm sure with a minor amount of studying I could bump analytical over 100 points.

I didn't take the GREs.

but I did take the SATS.. I got a 730 verbal, and a 600 on math. [and that was my highest math score]
